Psychology is the science of behavior and mental process. The very first thing in it is to understand human behavior, their reaction on each of the situation, their mental conditions, and the mind processing and acting. The immediate goal of this part of science is to understand and individual or group of individual on the basis of pre-established general principals and researching specific cases. In general the basic principal for understanding groups and individual is for the benefit of the society. The people who are participating in it or the part of the researches in this field are called psychologist. Psychological knowledge is often applied to the assessment and treatment of mental health problems; it also applied to understanding solving problems in many different spheres of human activity.

Psychology is the combination of combination of two words psyche which means mind and logy which means study. Both these words are derived from Latin and gives clear and obvious meaning that psychology is the study of mind. The psychology terms which have been used by the psychiatrist are somehow different from the other physician and it is very important to understand those psychology terms. It is very important to understand the words and the ideas which are supposed to refer something like: the large tree in front of the care referred to a very obvious thing which could be touched, seen and experienced.   But in psychology, the psychiatrist has to understand the mind of the affected people. It is not about some ones believes or opinions. It’s about the reaction of mind, either positive or negative. The psychiatrist has to listens to the patient to understand what inside his or her mind. What is the problem with him, because of which he cannot respond the way normal people, did? All these application has been implemented on clinical psychology. The work performed in clinical psychologist is same as that of therapist, which involves a formal relationship between professional and client. Four major theoretical perspectives are: psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, existential–humanistic, and systems or family therapy.

There are different types of psychology which has been used by all of us in our daily lives:
